Let's just say that I was feeling a little......

OVERWHELMED with the length of our drive to Vancouver.......:)

We drove 8 hours Saturday to a motel where oh so appropriately this hung:



Ha!

Anyway, we got up the next morning and started on our final leg of our journey....
This is what the border of Canada and America looks like(the monument reads "Children of a Common Mother":

You can't really tell but Doug did a magnificent job loading our car....I knew that he could put up with all of my crap but I never imagined that he would be able to fit all of my crap in the middle section of our car......I don't know which is harder to believe.




Well our supposed 6 hour trip turned into about 8 because we had to go in the building at the border(somehow it seemed really odd that we would drive, from Utah, into Canada to stay for a month and still be employed......seems that is reason enough to do a background check(which they did) luckily we passed!

We finally made it into the city and it is AMAZING! I cant wait to get to know Vancouver for the next month!

She is tired from all of her travels:
So far she has gone with us to Colorado, Montana and soon she will go international(we are taking her with us to Vancouver)

Triatholon Report!

On July 20th Doug and Tom completed their first triathlon!
Thomas completed it with a time of 3:31:23
and Doug 3:38:53

Needless to say we are so proud of them!

John Mayer!

The day we got back from the triathlon we had tickets to see John Mayer(how did I talk Doug into this you ask? I touted John's amazing Guitar skills) neither Doug and I were disappointed!(except I was totally expecting to see Jennifer Aniston: sadly I didn't.
Mick and Nat came with us for a fun evening!

To celebrate my brother's all important b'day(21) we took him out for a few drinks and to a movie(really wild I know, but we are family what do you want?)

Weber Reunion 08

Every other year Doug's immediate family gets together at a vacation rental and catch up!
This year the location was Steamboat Springs CO and Rosie was in charge! We had a great time!
Thanks to Rosie and Kevin for all of their hard work and Mom and Dad Weber for our housing!
